USF Success in Soccer Camps






USF Advanced Day Camps ( Sessions 1, 3, 7, 13, & 15 ) At South Florida, we prefer players who are extremely technical, tactically sound, and very creative. Since we look for these qualities in our players we feel it is of the utmost importance to teach this to young players. Our Advanced Day Camp is a full day program that start at 9 AM and ends at 4 PM. The Advanced Day program is designed to improve the competitive player’s technical proficiency in all aspects of the game (dribbling, passing, receiving, chipping, and shooting). A specific concentration is also placed on your child’s ability to be comfortable and creative on the ball. In each session your child will be challenged to try new things with the ball, which will increase your child’s confidence. Your child will be encouraged to take chances and be reassured it’s okay to make mistakes. In addition to the technical component, the Advanced Day Camp will improve your son’s tactical understanding in an individual and group setting. Throughout the entire Advanced Day Camp, a strong emphasis will be placed on developing you son’s confidence, creativity and individuality on the field. At the end of the week your child will leave a more technical player who has greater confidence and creativity.

USF Goalkeeper Academy ( Sessions 1, 3, 6, 7, 13, 15, & 17 ) USF goalkeeper coach Bryheem Hancock brings a vast amount of experience in goalkeeping. From his involvement with the U.S. Youth National Teams, Major League Soccer, and the college ranks. He uses this experience to develop goalkeepers of all levels. Our philosophy at the USF Goalkeeper Academy is to provide the most valuable experience possible using instruction and positive reinforcement in match related games and situations. Our objective is to teach young goalkeepers of America to be efficient in the four pillars of goalkeeping (Technical, Tactical, Mental, Physical). At the same time, goalkeepers will experience a high level of competition and training driven by a professional staff comprised of players and coaches from the University of South Florida Men’s Soccer program, Major League Soccer, and US Soccer. Great Team Discounts Your team can be trained together at any of our camps! You train as a team and play against other teams. Team discounts are as follows: a group of 8 or more players receive a $10.00 discount per player.
